About us

A community shaped by seva, wisdom, and shared devotion.

Sree Advaitha Seva Samithi brings families and seekers together through spiritual learning, cultural practice, and service rooted in compassion.

Our story

Rooted in tradition, active in the present.

Our work is inspired by the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya and the principle that the same divine reality lives in all beings.

Through gatherings, study, festivals, food service, and community care, SASSUK creates a welcoming space for people to learn, participate, and serve.

What guides us

  • Respectful spiritual education
  • Devotional and cultural gatherings
  • Compassionate community service
  • Support for families and young people

Seva

It means “selfless service”: work performed without expectation of reward or personal gain.

Satsang

It means “being in the company of truth” or “association with good people”. It describes an uplifting gathering of spiritual seekers—often centred around a teacher.

Samskara

These are subtle mental impressions, psychological imprints, or deep-seated habit patterns carried in the subconscious mind.
